A massive problem that urgently needs to be addressed - it appears there is a 5 week wait (until 27 April) for people to access the Coronavirus supplement. Workers laid off or stood down need this money now. The Government MUST fix this #Covid_19australia

#MedTute Sudden loss of smell or taste especially without upper respiratory tract symptoms should raise a strong suspicion for COVID-19. Increasing presentation of this as the only symptom of the infection, or raising the probability of being a carrier is now known.

The coronavirus supplement won’t begin until 27 April. The first household payment won’t happen until April and the second until July. Pensioners won’t see a boost until May. Employers won’t get one until 28 April. We all agree people need immediate support. We can do better.
